Harmless poetry

You broke a wing falling down the stairs.
Did you found joy in losing your mind, while forgetting my face?

Or is it the only thing left that keeps you alive?
In this mockery theft, they so fancy call "life"

I know your name but I can't put a pair of eyes to the face.
I've traded my sanity for fortune and fame.

The pounding of your heart still sings in my ears,
I'll give it attention when you stop being his.

I've climbed mountains higher than the love of your sight.
You'll know what I mean when you'll dream me tonight

Sleep tight
